Founded in 2001, VietNet is a consulting firm specializing in internet-based business solutions, trade & investment facilitation, policy analysis, advocacy, and strategic communications. With over two decades of experience, we help businesses navigate Vietnam’s dynamic economic environment and succeed in a rapidly digitalizing and globalizing world.
What began as a small IT startup in Hanoi—with just a few dedicated professionals and a shared vision—has grown into a trusted advisory partner with offices in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Today, we collaborate with global consulting firms and serve clients across a wide range of sectors.
Our success is rooted in our ability to integrate seamlessly with our clients’ teams, understand their goals, and deliver practical, tailored solutions that drive real impact. At VietNet, we combine local insight with international standards to support sustainable business growth in Vietnam and beyond.
We are a forward-looking team of passionate consultants specializing in business, IT, public policy, and communications—with the experience to deliver impactful results.
Our story
VietNet was established in 2001 when the internet was starting to be popular in Vietnam. We pioneered in delivering internet-based services including running an internet cafe chain in downtown Hanoi in 1998, developing a number of the first travel online booking platforms in Vietnam as well as managing several advertising sites.
We have recently expanded our services to offer consulting in e-commerce solutions, business development, government affairs, and strategic communications—leveraging our deep experience and well-established networks across multiple industries.
