Ha is a senior consultant specializing in public and government affairs, with over 25 years of experience spanning journalism, strategic communications, and regulatory advisory across Southeast Asia.
In August 2023, she was appointed Managing Director, Head of Vietnam at Edelman’s Public & Government Affairs (P&GA) practice. In recognition of her leadership and regional expertise, she was promoted in January 2025 to Managing Director, Head of Southeast Asia. In this role, Ha helps international clients successfully enter and expand in the Vietnamese and other Southeast Asian markets, navigate regulatory complexities, and build strong, lasting relationships with government stakeholders at all levels.
Ha brings a unique combination of journalistic insight, public policy knowledge, and strategic communications expertise. Her advisory portfolio spans sectors such as tourism, energy, agriculture, healthcare, and consumer goods.
Before joining Edelman, Ha spent four years as Special Advisor at Landmark Public Affairs, a Singapore-based public affairs consultancy. She also held senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam from 2011-2018, where she supported the CEO in overseeing markets across Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and the broader ASEAN and South Asia cluster. Earlier in her career, she served as Communications Manager at the British Embassy in Hanoi.
Ha’s professional journey began in journalism, where she gained national recognition as a foreign affairs and economic reporter for Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper in the early 2000s. Today, she continues to contribute editorial articles to VNExpress, Vietnam’s leading online news platform—her writing consistently draws high readership and engagement.
Ha has received prestigious international awards and scholarships, including the Chevening Scholarship (UK) and the InWEnt Scholarship (Germany), which enabled her to pursue journalism studies in Cardiff (2006) and Berlin (2005). In 2009, she was honored with the UK Foreign Secretary’s Leadership Prize for her contributions to advancing digital diplomacy.
